As everyone knows, there are recycling bins placed all over the school– both seen in the hallways and in teachers’ classrooms.

However, for the recycling bins in our school, it’s not possible to recycle some things. Here’s a list of what type of items are suitable for recycling and what is not.

Do:

  • paper (restricted to lined paper, newspapers, printer paper, etc. do not attempt to recycle other types of paper products like tissues and napkins.)
  • plastic water bottles and containers.

Don’t:

  • Food or liquid. Please clean out your plastic containers and finish the drink or pour out the excess down the sink before recycling.
  • Food wrappers.
  • Other objects that are obviously non-recyclable.

It’s encouraged to do recycling at home! Get a blue bin and adhere to the standards here. If you can’t recycle it at school, you may be able to recycle it from home.
