  1. Fell in the Sun by Big Grams – a great song from the mash up group of Big Boi and Phantograms, this mix combines rap and alternative rock into one upbeat melody that is perfect for walks in the fall weather. This group is an unexpected mash up of two great genres and was a shock to both communities of music when it came out, but no one is complaining. Hopefully, a new album comes out soon.
  2. Less I Know the Better by Tame Impala – Tame Impala has been slowly bringing back the psychedelic rock from the 60s and 70s. With these flowing rhythms, everyone can enjoy this feel good music. This Australian band has been nominated 58 times for awards from Rolling Stone Awards, WAMI Awards, ARIA Awards, J Awards, Brit Awards, APRA Awards, EG Music Awards, and the Grammy Awards, so we know they are paving their way in this generations music.
  3. American Money by BØRNS – With his first studio album that just debuted last year, BØRNS has been slowly climbing the charts in indie rock. Landing a IPhone 6 commercial with his hit song, Past Lives, BØRNS is slowly but surely making he way in pop music. Other songs such as Seeing Stars and Electric Love have slowly been popping up in TV shows and movies. He is making everyone fall in love with his love ballads, especially American Money.
  4. $Dreams by Max Frost – Influenced by Frank Sinatra and the Beatles, his distinguishable voice is soothing, as he serenades the listeners with an enjoyable song that takes us back to the 80s, but somehow stays with our generation. Before being a one man act, he was in two different blues and jazz bands. Using those skills, he is combining techno pop and blues music into an exciting genre.
  5. Popular St. by Glass Animals – Their latest album, How To Be a Human Being, takes us into the lives of different people in each song. This song gives us imagery in the style of the great Red Hot Chili Peppers, with a guitar intro that makes everyone fall head over heels in love. Synth pop and hip hop with jungle sounds create an interesting mix that intrigues listeners to listen to more.
  6. Put a Flower in Your Pocket by the Arcs – The lead singer of the Black Keys, Dan Auerbach, has created a new group called the Arcs. With their mix of soul music and garage rock, it appeals to the senses and can give you goosebumps. With this side project, one can only hope that they continue making music and not stop after one album. This song is exactly what you need for cold nights around the fire.
  7. Drop the Game by Flume ft. Chet Faker – Flume has been the center of the pop genre lately with songs like Say It ft. Tove Lo and Never Be Like You ft. Kai. With these new songs, he has not been off the radio stations. Flumes beats and remixes are different from the day to day that you can tell it is his work. Throwing it back to 2012, Drop the game features Chet Faker’s deep, downtempo voice has the warm feeling you need in the fall.
  8. Hey Mami by Sylvan Esso – Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn are very new to the indie pop scene, with their self titled debut album being released in 2014. Their version of electronica and pop music gets everyone on their feet, but this song is somewhat slow compared to the others, perfect for sitting and drinking hot cocoa while waking up in the morning.
  9. Brazil by Declan McKenna – Winning the Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition, Declan McKenna is one of the most talented British 17 year old you will ever hear. His song Brazil was written when he was 16 and has already surpassed many people older than him on the Billboard Alternative Songs charts reaching number 16. Discussing difficult topics through his songs, he is becoming an influential teen of the nation. Armed with an acoustic guitar, Brazil in perfect for the colder weather.
  10. Please Don’t Tell My Lover by Empires – This band is notorious for using heavy bass, raw vocals, and killer guitar arrangements. Going for a different spin on this song, Please Don’t Tell My Lover is relaxing and has a chill mood to it perfect for fall. While they are not in studio creating anything else at this moment, we can still enjoy this indie rock ballad.
