We only have one more week to go until Homecoming, and many students are planning on attending the parade, game, and/or dance. Here’s all the information you need in one place.

Homecoming Week (Dress-Up Days)

Monday, September 10th: Twin Day. Twin with a friend. Bonus points if there are triplets.

Tuesday, September 11th: Character Day. Pick out an eye-catching costume (or recycle last year’s from Halloween). DIY it if you have to. JC is going to look like a cosplay convention.

Wednesday, September 12th: Tacky Day. Need I say more?

Thursday, September 13th: Destinations. Freshmen are tourists (we did just get here), and the upperclassmen have specific destinations: sophomores to the North Pole, juniors to America, and seniors to Ancient Greece. So many options!

Friday, September 14th: Wear black and blue to school and to the football game.

The parade is on Thursday, September 13th. It will line up at 4:00 pm, and begin at 5:30 pm. It starts at Heritage Elementary school and ends at JCHS. No one can be dropped off at Heritage and no one can park there. There will be a shuttle from JC to Heritage. The Court Representatives will ride in the parade. For more information and to register to participate, go to https://www.jchshomecoming.com/parade.

The game is Friday, September 14th. Don’t forget to wear black and blue!

The dance is on Saturday, September 15th from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets are $10 and must be bought the week of Homecoming during Refuel. In other words, they will not be sold at the door. For information about guests and to request a song, go to https://www.jchshomecoming.com/dance.

The Homecoming Give Back initiative allows JC students to make our community a better place. Freshmen raise money for St. Jude, Sophomores for Make A Wish, Juniors for M.A.R.F., and seniors for Free2Teach. Give donations to your homeroom teacher this week.
