Some people are chosen

to lead, some to

follow;

others to smile, and

many to cry.

Yet, somehow,

there is balance

in that those with

power lose the urge

to fight. The

neglected find a way

to spite, and the

forgotten

hide

in plain sight.

    That was a very insightful and well-written poem. The picture depicts the poem’s theme perfectly as well. It makes me rethink why I do what I do on a daily basis. I am a poet as well who writes with similar themes, and I understand just how much thought and time goes into this. I put my poetry on Instagram @shannonpoetryspam if you would like to look.
