On Tuesday, November 13th, at 6:00 pm in the James Clemens auditorium, our feeder school, Liberty Middle, will be performing “Bestest Bedtime Stories as Told By Grandpa”. The play, narrated by the character Grandpa, takes familiar childhood stories and gives them a modern twist. James Clemens Theater Tech partnered with Liberty Middle School to provide them with a larger performing space and trained techs. Liberty Middle School’s amazing drama program along with James Clemens theater is sure to wow on the night of the show. As I sat in on the latest rehearsal, the collaboration of the two departments was obvious. Courtney Kelly, director of the play, believes “Collaboration is the key to making our programs stronger.” The well written story brought to life by James Clemens tech and Liberty Middle actors is something I wouldn’t want to miss.
